About Our Client
Addison Group is partnering with a healthcare organization seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join their team. This position focuses primarily on verifying insurance coverage and benefits for new patients in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Complete approximately 80-90 insurance verifications per day.
  • Utilize Availity and state Medicaid portals to confirm coverage.
  • Review patient accounts and update insurance information.
  • Complete occasional re-verifications as needed.
  • Support collections and other patient account functions when necessary.

Requirements:
  • Recent healthcare insurance verification experience required.
  • Availity experience required.
  • Experience using state Medicaid websites/portals required.
  • Previous medical collections experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Additional Details
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
