Compensation and Schedule:

Responsibilities:

As anย Employment Service Navigator, youโ€™ll play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to build meaningful careers and lead independent lives. This position offers a mix of direct support and case management responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to work hands-on with participants while also collaborating with families, funders, and the Aptiv team to develop and maintain individualized employment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct and indirect support to participants in employment services

  • Advocating for person-centered programming that meets participantsโ€™ health, safety, and independence goals

  • Managing caseloads and ensuring up-to-date documentation in company systems

  • Completing annual plans, progress reviews, and service updates

  • Communicating regularly with participants, families, funders, and providers

  • Ensuring service authorizations are accurate and aligned with participantsโ€™ needs

  • Promoting natural supports and community integration

  • Maintaining knowledge of regulations, Aptiv policies, and best practices

Youโ€™ll also contribute to quality service delivery, identify service gaps, and collaborate with your team to ensure that every individual receives the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance

  • Proficiency with computer software (Office 2007+, Google applications)

  • Flexibility in work schedule and strong time management skills

  • Ability to provide direct support to individuals receiving employment services

Preferred:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Education) OR equivalent experience and education

  • 3+ years of experience in a human services setting

  • Experience with case management, disability services, or employment supports

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a human services related field such as Sociology, Psychology, Communications, Anthropology, Education, Recreation Therapy, or other Bachelorโ€™s Degree, Associates Degree or other post high school graduation coursework and three years experience in a human service field
  • Experience working with children or adults with disabilities
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in communicating rates for services and requesting authorizations
  • Experience in case management and assessing developmental needs
  • Knowledge of proactive behavioral approaches and precision teaching techniques

  • Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage for transportation for daily use
