Job description

Work directly for the OEM! Work on and Drive new Trucks. Tons of Overtime!!!!!
Stefanini Group is looking for Heavy Truck and Diesel Technician in Commerce City, CO.
As a Technician / Mechanic, you will support engineering during testing activities. Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.
Standard shift is Mon - Fri 7:00 4:00. Certain jobs and tests may require weekend support.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Identify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function
  • Support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.
  • Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations
  • Perform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.
  • Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehicles
  • Programming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service tool
  • Perform other basic technician duties such as be greasing the trucks, taking oil samples, etc.

Job Requirements
An ideal candidate MUST have:
  • Basic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)
  • Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Should be able to perform Truck and Trailer alignments
  • Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plus
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be willing to travel
