Position Summary

The Global Director of Operations is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for providing strategic direction and executive oversight of Fireyeโ€™s manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics functions. Reporting directly to the president, this role drives operational excellence, strengthens production capabilities, and builds a resilient, scalable supply chain.


Fireye continues to expand its global presence through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The recent acquisition of Energy Technology & Control (ETC) in the United Kingdom enhances regional engineering expertise and customer proximity in Europe.

Additionally, Fireye has established Key Account Managers across key international markets, including Saudi Arabia, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany, with further expansion planned in Africa and Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global operations strategy aligned with business goals for growth, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Product Development, and Quality to drive alignment and execution
  • Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory turns, and production efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes across global operations
  • Ensure global operations consistently meet or exceed customer service expectations
  • Oversee warehousing, logistics, and distribution networks to optimize delivery performance
  • Lead budgeting, capital planning, and cost optimization efforts across operations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations
  • Partner with international commercial teams to ensure operational readiness and support

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) and/or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred

Experience & Competencies

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior, multi-site or global role
  • Proven success leading supply chains and manufacturing operations
  • Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute operationally
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, cross-functional, and global teams
  • Experience integrating acquisitions and scaling operations internationally
