Job description

We are seeking an AV Field Engineer to join our Atlanta team in the growing market. The AV Field Engineer specializes in pre-install quality control and configuration as well as post-installation commissioning and system stand-up. This position requires travel as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Configuration and Post-Install commissioning of various AV Systems
  • Report daily on where timelines amp; tasks are to Project Managers and team
  • Verify systems integration wiring connectivity and terminations in the lab
  • Assist and verify system wiring and terminations meet specifications/drawings in lab
  • Analyze and resolve configuration issues pre-install (lab) and post-install
  • Work with programming team to provide support in loading, testing, and documenting results of pre-built customized control programs, touch panel files, and DSP builds
  • Assist and verify system wiring and terminations meet specifications/drawings in field
  • Complete final configuration, testing, and commissioning of AV systems
  • Perform end-user training on AV Systems
  • Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes
Job Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in AV Installation and Commissioning
  • AVIXA CTS amp; CTS-I Preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of QSC, Crestron, and Extron systems required
  • Programming Knowledge and certifications is a plus
  • Advanced Networking knowledge and certifications is a plus
  • Experience with Audio tuning, equalization, and DSP programming
  • Strong communication skills with daily reporting of tasks
Job Compensation and Details:
  • Pay- $46-50/hr with potential bonus at year end
  • Shift Time and Days- 8am-4:30pm, M-F with rare off hours
