Job description

The EMC Lab Technician is a key technical owner responsible for executing and supporting EMC/EMI and Electrical qualification testing to RTCA DO‑160G, Boeing, and Airbus requirements. This role serves as the primary focal point for EMC laboratory readiness, equipment calibration, and audit compliance, operating with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

  • Independently execute EMC/EMI and Electrical qualification testing per DO‑160G, Boeing, and Airbus standards
  • Act as primary owner of EMC lab equipment inventory, calibration status, and readiness
  • Support internal and external qualification testing programs and accredited laboratories
  • Maintain continuous audit readiness and compliance with approved Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs)
  • Identify, document, and elevate test anomalies or equipment issues
  • Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
  • 3 - 6+ years experience in EMC / Electrical testing, preferably aerospace
  • Strong knowledge of RTCA DO‑160 (E/F/G)
  • Hands‑on experience with spectrum analyzers, RF amplifiers, LISNs, probes, and antennas
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The starting pay range for this position is $33- $41 per hour however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
