Job description

Summary:
As an Independent Adjuster for People's Trust Insurance, you will play a critical role in the claims process, focusing on property claims. You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and estimating property claims in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires strong technical knowledge of property damage assessment, the use of Xactimate and XactAnalysis, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Claim Investigation: Conduct thorough on-site inspections of damaged properties to assess the extent of loss and gather necessary documentation including photographs.
โ€ข Claim Estimation: Use Xactimate to prepare detailed estimates of repair costs for damaged properties, ensuring accuracy and fairness in the assessment.
โ€ข Documentation: Use XactAnalysis to notate the progress of the claim investigation.
โ€ข Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate reports of all investigations and communications and meet regulatory compliance.
โ€ข Team Collaboration: Work closely with the claims team and other departments to ensure seamless claim processing and resolution.
โ€ข Compliance amp; Best Practices: Stay current on state regulations, company guidelines, and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Licensing: Must possess a valid Florida Adjuster License or Emergency Insurance Adjuster License.
โ€ข Experience: Minimum of 1 year of property adjusting experience in residential claims. Familiarity with Florida insurance regulations and guidelines is a plus.
โ€ข Skills:
โ€ข Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies.
โ€ข Advanced proficiency in Xactimate and sketch.
โ€ข Proficiency in XactAnalysis.
โ€ข Knowledge of residential construction.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
โ€ข High level of professionalism and customer service focus.
Physical amp; Travel Requirements:
โ€ข Ability to work in the field, including climbing ladders, walking on roofs, and navigating damaged properties.
โ€ข Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation for local travel.
