Job description

All Fleet Inc is a multifaceted diesel repair company providing 24-hour road service. We are looking for a dynamic individual to be a full-time dispatcher for a fleet of 100+ technicians for over-the-road repair. Industry/Call center experience is required.

You will be joining a team of dispatchers supporting customers, calling in due to a breakdown and requesting immediate repair service, or needing standard service. For each call, you will gather the details including the problem with the truck/trailer or vehicle, the driver's location, and any special information. You Dispatch a local mobile technician to diagnose the problem. You will often serve as the lifeline at the end of the phone who will get them the help, they need to get back on the road quickly and meet their obligations.

Responsibilities of the Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative

  • Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information.
  • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments or field units.
  • Ability to think ahead and plan for the most efficient routes and use of techs to complete work.
  • Operate and manage a multi-line telephone console system.
  • Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
  • Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule.
  • Maintain and update call logs, call records, and other important documentation.
  • Computer, phone, and text communication with technicians and customers.
  • Managing large company accounts for the company's building relationship with key personnel.
  • Communicate with drivers and mechanics on repairs and service needs of trucks and trailers.
  • Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by national accounts.
