• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ unique trauma histories and their implications for treatment.
• Tailor and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on processing trauma and developing practical coping strategies to empower patients in their healing journeys.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and follow-up care.
• Provide timely crisis intervention in response to trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and support.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, creating a knowledgeable support network around them.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in case consultations, quality assurance meetings, and professional development opportunities centered on trauma-informed care.
• Remain informed of the latest best practices and research developments in trauma therapy, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other life-altering events. We emphasize culturally competent approaches, recognizing that each patient’s background and experience is unique and requires a tailored therapeutic strategy.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and trusting therapist-patient relationship.

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, particularly in settings that focus on trauma recovery.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and family systems approaches highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software and navigating various computer applications to enhance clinical documentation processes.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
