This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, where you will engage with patients via secure telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, emotional challenges, and treatment readiness.
• Develop, document, and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, integrating various therapeutic practices.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective healing.
• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, establishing coping mechanisms, and encouraging positive healing journeys.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.
• Provide vital crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, promoting safety and stabilization.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available community resources, empowering them through knowledge and understanding.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with established legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continued professional development activities, ensuring alignment with trauma-informed best practices.
• Stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and best practices to provide the highest quality of care.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms, including those suffering from PTSD and complex trauma. Many of our clients face unique challenges that require warmth, empathy, and specialized treatments. The clientele also includes families supportive of trauma survivors, recommending a holistic approach to care that encompasses the needs of both individuals and their loved ones.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LSCSW, LCPC, LCP, or LCMFT in Kansas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure professional experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of trauma-related disorders and therapeutic approaches.
• Proven experience in applying trauma-focused therapies in clinical settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Able to maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor in crises and high-stress situations.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with various computer applications.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of shared goals.

Experience in working specifically with trauma survivors and familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices in trauma therapy will enhance candidates' fit for this role. Additional training or certification in modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT is a plus.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
