What is an EMC manager?

EMC Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance within an organization. They ensure that electronic devices and systems operate without causing or being affected by unwanted electromagnetic interference. Their duties include planning EMC testing, managing compliance with regulations and standards, and coordinating with design, engineering, and regulatory teams. EMC Managers play a critical role in product development, certification, and market approval processes for electronic products.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an EMC manager?
