Experienced Tajima Embroidery Machine Operator – (4-Day Work Week!)
Fire Protection Outfitters – Pasadena, TX$20-25/hr | Climate-Controlled Shop | 3-Day Weekends Every WeekAbout Fire Protection Outfitters

Fire Protection Outfitters is a distributor and manufacturer of Flame Retardant (FR) and Non-FR uniforms located in Pasadena, Texas. Our 10,000 sq ft showroom and factory carries one of the largest in-stock inventories in the region, featuring trusted FR brands such as Ariat FR, Bulwark, Carhartt FR, FlameRwear, Lapco, Workrite, Wrangler FR, and Viking FR.

The Job – Experienced Tajima Operators Only
We need a skilled, production-ready Tajima operator who can hit the ground running.
(No beginners or trainees – you must already be proficient on Tajima multi-head machines.)

Schedule
Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
(Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off)

What You’ll Do

  • Independently set up and operate Tajima multi-head machines (TMEZ/TFMX series)
  • Hoop FR shirts, coveralls, jackets, caps, bags, etc.
  • Load and run designs created in Wilcom software
  • Perform color changes, thread trimming, and minor troubleshooting
  • Read pick tickets, scan orders, and produce perfect logos, names, and patches
  • Consistently hit daily production and quality targets
  • Keep machines clean and perform daily/weekly maintenance

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience operating Tajima multi-head embroidery machines
  • Comfortable receiving and running designs created in Wilcom (you do NOT need to digitize – just load, assign colors, and run)
  • Fast, accurate hooping on a variety of garments
  • Solid understanding of thread tension, stitch quality, and common fixes
  • Excellent attention to detail and speed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 20 lbs
