As an Advanced Embedded Engineer here at Honeywell, you will drive the design and development of sophisticated, embedded software solutions that power innovative industrial automation technologies. You will leverage your expertise to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to cutting-edge projects that enhance process industry operations and improve safety and productivity.


You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, Center of Excellence group, and you'll work out of our Lincolnshire, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of embedded software that integrates seamlessly with hardware components, enabling smarter, safer, and more efficient industrial automation systems for customers worldwide.

YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years of experience in design and development of embedded software solutions.
Strong expertise in programming languages such as C and C++ with mastery in embedded software development.
Deep understanding of hardware and software integration in embedded systems.
Experience with debugging tools and methodologies to troubleshoot complex embedded software issues.
Knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded software testing procedures.
