Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed plumbing system designs for both commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing system layout, fixture selection, and coordination with architectural and mechanical teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings using AutoCAD and Revit software.

  • Prepare construction documents including drawings, schematics, and specifications for plumbing and piping systems.

  • Perform design calculations related to domestic water, sanitary, vent, storm drainage, and gas systems.

  • Coordinate design details with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure system compatibility.

  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and field conditions to verify design intent and code compliance.

  • Support project managers and engineers with technical design tasks and documentation.

  • Ensure designs adhere to applicable plumbing codes, standards, and sustainability requirements.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input throughout design and construction phases.


Qualifications
