About the Role
Join Indotronix as an Embedded Software Test/Verification Engineer Level 3, where you'll play a pivotal role in testing and verifying embedded software for cutting-edge flight, space, and ground systems. You'll collaborate with top-tier engineers in a dynamic, process-oriented environment at the forefront of aerospace and defense technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug embedded applications and systems
- Conduct comprehensive software verification using TLYF methodology to validate functional and performance requirements
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure system-level integration and compliance
- Analyze system capabilities, resolve software issues, and recommend solutions for program intent and output requirements
- Develop and execute test plans for automated test sets/test systems
- Prepare detailed operating instructions and develop utility programs for embedded systems
- Work with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux) and leverage various processors, memory, and I/O architectures
- Ensure all software meets rigorous standards and documentation requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 5+ years hands-on experience in C/C++ software development for embedded systems
- Proven track record with formal verification processes for embedded flight software
- Experience in process-driven environments (waterfall, spiral, agile)
