Job Description:

We are seeking a Board Support Package (BSP) software engineer with experience in embedded real-time software development. This position supports existing and next-generation military communications software while working close to hardware, drivers, boot code, RTOS, interfaces, and platform integration. An engineer in this position is responsible for creating designs, adding features to current designs, and developing operating system configurations.

 

Essential Functions:

Configuring and patching U-boot and Linux for an embedded system

Configuring the root file system for an embedded system

Configuring Linux device trees

Linux boot process on an embedded system

BASH scripting

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years embedded software engineering experience
