Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support client development teams in resolving code-related issues and enhancing DevOps workflows. The role involves developing tools, managing CI/CD processes, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support client development teams to resolve issues relating to code managed in RDKCentral, in a timely manner.
• Gain a thorough understanding of processes and workflows used in the CI/CD environment and use this to support external teams.
• Attend the office in Philadelphia at least 3 days a week to interface with the rest of the RDKM team and with Comcast development teams.
• Supporting the Code Management team by developing and enhancing tools that are a part of the DevOps workflows.
• Use appropriate tools and technologies to support our CI/CD capability.
• Develop/ Refactor scripts written in Python, in an embedded Linux environment as required.
• Write Jenkins jobs using Jenkins pipelines and migrate tools from multi-jobs to pipelines as required.
• Use Gerrit, GitHub, Jenkins, Yocto expertise to triage and address support requests and issues
• Support our AWS System Administrator as required to pre-empt issues before they arise and address security concerns.
• Support GitHub and Gerrit workflows.
