Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team and support customer projects involving enterprise data center and solutions. In this role, you will work closely with your manager and cross-functional teams to help plan, implement, and maintain customer systems. You'll assist with both internal and external communications to ensure projects run smoothly and meet customer goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Support senior engineers and management in coordinating projects for large enterprise customers
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, and support) to deliver hardware and software solutions that meet customer requirements
• Help manage customer communications and follow up on technical issues or project updates
• Assist in deploying and maintaining data center and server solutions using Intel, AMD, Nvidia and other architectures
• Learn to troubleshoot systems related to computing, storage, and networking environments
• Participate in testing, documentation, and reporting for ongoing and new projects
• Contribute to technical documentation such as setup guides, product notes, and knowledge base articles
• Support training and pre-sales activities by preparing materials and learning product features
• Work cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
• Ability to build and demonstrate proof-of-concept that meets or exceeds customer business needs
• Ability to present the corporate brand, product messaging and solutions to customers
• Visit on-site facilities and operations to enable solution integration and issue resolution
• Some travel required (up to 25%)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of experience in systems, hardware, or application engineering (internship or academic project experience plus)
• Basic understanding of data center architecture, CPU/GPU platforms, and storage solutions
• Solid HW system design and diagnostics skills
• Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus
• Strong interest in learning about enterprise AI and advanced computing environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a proactive attitude
• Ability to manage multiple small tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Individual must be able to work effectively in a high pressure environment
Salary Range
$85,000 - $95,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
