We are seeking a part-time professor to teach SED1515: Embedded Programming and Scripting for students in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Design program at the Faculty of Engineering, School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation, University of Ottawa. This course, delivered in French, introduces students to foundational embedded programming and scripting through hands-on work with the Raspberry Pi platform and Python. The focus is on developing practical automation, monitoring, and control scripts, culminating in a simple project that is built and tested during the course.Posting limited to:

Experience with educational projects involving Raspberry Pi or similar platforms
Industry or research experience in embedded systems, automation, or IoT
Familiarity with basic electronics and interfacing sensors/actuators
Experience designing and supervising hands-on student projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Please note that this position requires teaching in French.
