Job Summary:
Qualcomm is a company of inventors that unlocked 5G/Mobile, and they are seeking ambitious engineers with experience in Automotive software functional safety and test concepts. The role involves leading test case development and validation for automotive software, ensuring quality through automation and manual testing.
Responsibilities:
• Experience of test case development with strong automation skill (C/C++, Python a must).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with product life cycle from Presil to commercial deployment.
• Experience in leading team of SW test case development and validation engineers across multiple geographical locations.
• Ability to create and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases , reporting bugs and testing bug fixes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years of SW development, planning, test case design/development and validation experience in Linux, QNX, Android, Multimedia, Kernels and device driver domains.
• Experience of test case development with strong automation skill (C/C++, Python a must).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with product life cycle from Presil to commercial deployment.
• Experience in leading team of SW test case development and validation engineers across multiple geographical locations.
• Ability to create and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases, reporting bugs and testing bug fixes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Preferred:
• Automotive domain test experience and some exposure to IVI, ADAS and AD features.
• Experience with HIL (Hardware in Loop) and SIL (Software in Loop) test methodologies used for testing embedded systems.
• Test experience on Multimedia/Sensor technologies a huge plus – Camera, Audio, Video, Graphic, Radar, Lidar, Sensors, neural networks and AI processing.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Fundamentals (e.g. BSD, CDD etc.)
