Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to assess and address clients' mental health and emotional needs.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans that include measurable goals and strategies for mental health and wellness.
  • Utilize a cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to document patient progress, treatment plans, and compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Maintain a HIPAA-compliant virtual platform to facilitate telehealth sessions, ensuring patient confidentiality and care quality.
  • Support clients in navigating crises and effectively managing symptoms related to mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure comprehensive care and share best practices among peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Summit Healthcare Group, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

  • Proven ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
  • A reliable computer with internet access and a webcam to conduct therapy sessions.
  • Completion of a background check is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or with underrepresented populations.
