Job Summary

Long Term Care Pharmacy is seeking a driven, professional, and well-connected Strategic Business Development / Healthcare Rep to help expand our long-term care pharmacy services within Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Group Homes, Rehab Facilities, and other residential care settings.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare sales, facility relations, pharmacy services, post-acute care, senior living, or long-term care operations who can confidently engage with Executive Directors, Directors of Nursing (DONs), Administrators, Owners, and other decision-makers.

The primary responsibility of this position is to generate leads, build relationships, present pharmacy service solutions, negotiate service agreements, and secure new facility contracts.

This is a results-driven role with strong earning potential through bonus and/or commission-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Group Homes, Rehab Facilities, and related healthcare organizations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive Directors, DONs, Administrators, Owners, and decision-makers
  • Present Vision Med LTC & Compounding Pharmacy services in a professional and consultative manner
  • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, in-person visits, networking, and relationship development
  • Schedule and attend meetings with prospective facility partners
  • Understand each facility’s pain points and position pharmacy services as a value-driven solution
  • Negotiate service terms and assist in securing signed pharmacy service agreements
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to support onboarding and transition planning for new accounts
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads, follow-ups, proposals, and contract opportunities
  • Represent the pharmacy professionally in the field and at industry events when applicable

Services You Will Be Representing

Our long-term care pharmacy provides services tailored to residential and facility-based care settings, including:

  • Long-term care pharmacy services for ALFs, SNFs, hospices, rehab facilities, and group homes
  • Medication packaging options including bubble packs, medication pouches, and amber vials
  • Reliable routine and STAT delivery services
  • Clinical support and pharmacy consultation
  • eMAR integration support
  • Vaccine clinic coordination for residents and staff
  • Responsive service and facility-focused pharmacy partnership
  • Others: To be discussed on the interview

Qualifications

  • Experience and strong networking in healthcare sales, long-term care, assisted living, SNF operations, pharmacy sales, hospice sales, medical marketing, or post-acute business development preferred
  • Existing relationships within ALFs, SNFs, senior living, long-term care, or healthcare facilities is a strong plus
  • Strong ability to communicate with facility leadership and healthcare professionals
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close business
  • Confident, professional, and polished presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for facility visits
  • Knowledge of long-term care pharmacy operations is a plus
