Job description

Position begins 2025-2026 school year. Salary Schedule is based on the 2025-2026 school year.
All offers of employment are contingent upon board approval and the applicant's satisfactory completion of a drug screening test (including marijuana), background and reference checks. Siuslaw School District strives to provide a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for all employees.
*The Siuslaw School District allows a maximum of 3 years of outside experience on the salary schedule.
HEAD BOYS BASKETBALL COACH, EXTRA DUTY, SIUSLAW MIDDLE SCHOOL
Dates Needed: 1/4/2027 - 2/26/2027
Salary: Based upon experience /SEA union salary base
Duties and Responsibilities: To assist in building and sustaining a competitive and fulfilling program for everyone involved in the program. To be able to effectively coach and model skills, work ethic and values inherent to a strong middle school level program. This position requires positive communication skills regarding all expectations and requirements of a middle school program connected to academics, safety and skill level.
Knowledge and Ability: The coach should possess a strong fundamental knowledge of basketball. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with middle school students and athletes.
