We are seeking a Premium Accounting Processor to join our home office team in Frankfort, Kentucky. This role balances answering phone calls from agents and policyholders with processing premium payments and maintaining accurate records. The position requires strong phone communication skills along with comfort in detail-heavy, deadline-driven data entry work.
Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Answers incoming phone calls from agents and policyholders, serving as a primary point of contact for premium accounting inquiries
  • Researches and resolves caller questions regarding payments, billing, and account status, escalating complex issues as needed
  • Processes premium payments accurately and within required deadlines
  • Enters and updates policyholder and payment data in company systems
  • Assists clients through written correspondence including email, fax, and mail
  • Organization of print, fax and email paperwork
  • Scanning of documents to electronic image system
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Two years of college level studies or at least two years of customer service, administrative, or accounting-support experience
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, professional demeanor when handling customer and agent inquiries
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with numbers and records
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a growing business
  • Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates initiative and persistence
  • Able to exercise independent judgment
  • Commits to satisfying internal and external customers
  • Bookkeeping, banking, or financial services experience a plus, but not required
