Job Title: Franchise Operations Manager

Location: This position is based out of Eden Prairie, MN. It is a hybrid working environment and four days per week must be in office at the Headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. This position does require the ability to travel up to 40%

Position Details:

Job Summary: The Franchise Operations Coach will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the performance of our franchise partners. This position involves working closely with franchise owners to provide strategic guidance, operational advice, and business development support. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of franchising, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Franchisee Support and Coaching:

    • Provide one-on-one coaching to franchisees to improve business operations, sales, and profitability.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop action plans for underperforming franchisees.
    • Lead monthly and quarterly Joint Business Planning with the franchisee and marketing team members
    • Offer strategic advice and solutions to address specific challenges faced by franchisees.
    • Provide guidance on financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Develop and lead Business Plan reviews including reviewing franchisee's P&Ls
  2. Operational Excellence + Compliance:

    • Ensure franchisees adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist franchisees in optimizing operational processes and implementing best practices.
    • Conduct site visits to assess operations, provide feedback, ensure all operations processes follow brand guidelines, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure franchisees are compliant with the Franchise Disclosure Document which many include but not limited to insurance, annual/monthly financial reporting
  3. Training and Development:

    • Deliver training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of franchisees and their staff.
    • Develop training materials and resources tailored to the needs of the franchise network
    • Answer emails and submission inquiries from franchise partners
    • Ensure company policies, Operations Manual and other materials are updated on internal Project Management and Portal tools
  4. Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with franchisees.
    • Act as a liaison between franchisees and the corporate team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions in a professional manner.
  5. Reporting

    • Pull daily, monthly and yearly reports
    • Manage company's internal reporting and data dashboard systems
    • Provide financial updates to leadership team
    • Assist franchisees with reporting, payroll and other sales questions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in franchising, business coaching, or a related role.
  • Franchising experience is required
  • Strong understanding of franchise operations and business development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial statements and performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support franchisees.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the health, wellness and/or beauty industry
  • Proficiency in using business management software and tools such as Smartsheets, Asana, and a CRM
