Job Description Summary

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience to support the execution of targeted, data-driven campaigns. This role focuses on building and optimizing emails, automations, and customer journeys that drive engagement and improve the customer experience.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns, leverage data for personalization, and continuously improve performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical and creative sides of email marketing and wants to grow their skills in marketing automation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy targeted email campaigns, automations, and customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Create and manage assets across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder
  • Use AMPscript, SQL, and data extensions to power personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content
  • Support end-to-end campaign execution, including setup, QA, scheduling, and post-send monitoring
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve campaign performance, customer engagement, and overall experience
  • Analyze campaign results and share actionable insights to optimize future campaigns
  • Document processes, campaign standards, and platform best practices to support team consistency
  • Contribute to cross-team initiatives and ongoing improvements in tools, processes, and workflows

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required
  • Working knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, audience segmentation, and dynamic content
  • Experience managing data extensions, subscriber data, and relational data models
  • Solid understanding of email best practices, including deliverability and compliance (such as CAN-SPAM)
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services such as retirement, life insurance, or investments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Litmus, Tableau, Seismic, or Outlook templates
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working
  • Experience with other marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Marketo

Compensation

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $64,000 - $74,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
