How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Process Authorizations: Obtain and record authorizations for ancillary services and handle denial reporting.
  • Manage Referrals: Facilitate, identify, and document all patient referrals while ensuring patient choice of facilities or agencies is honored.
  • Expedite Discharges: Transmit required medical documentation to external providers to secure fast patient acceptance.
  • Payer Communication: Document all interactions with insurance payers and update relevant internal staff on authorization statuses.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
