Project AdministratorWatson Civil Construction is a heavy/highway contractor working throughout Florida specializing in large site infrastructure, underground, and road work. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is currently seeking a Project Administrator in our Bonita Springs office. This position provides a wide variety of administrative support to the office in an effective and efficient manner. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of self-confidence and executive presence; can proactively anticipate and manage challenges, be a self-starter with strong abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize appropriately.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide support to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents as needed.Aid in timesheet verification and integration for project team.Track onsite personnel and equipment to ensure all entered on time and efficiently.Assist in entering and tracking quantities in our construction software.Update onsite subcontractor logs and field PO logs.Route and track submittals.Maintain project files and file accordingly.Keep inventory of safety supplies and order accordingly. Support project team with document / invoice / receipt tracking.Assist with Project Startup and Project Closeout.Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls. Greet office visitors in a professional, positive manner.Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Prepare overnight shipments and outgoing mail.Maintain office supply inventory and order appropriately.Compose and edit letters, emails, and other correspondence. Qualifications:Applicants must have previous experience in an administrative assistant or general office role along with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).Superior organizational skills and proactive in anticipating business needs. Detail-oriented and quality conscious. Self-motivated. Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.Requires minimal instruction on day-to-day work.
