Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule: Full-time, Onsite daily.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Supply Planner (IMS) with eight or more years of Air Force Supply Chain Management experience, providing hands-on technical expertise to support all facets of IMS principles, procedures, techniques, and practices. Support includes the application of analytical methods and techniques to resolve IM problems and issues, as well as initial planning, provisioning, and requirements determination. This support also encompasses acquisition and sustainment, including distribution, accountability, retention, and disposal.
General Skillset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset
  • Requirements identification/development, item management, and requirements execution
  • Evaluating program efficiency
  • Provide training/assistance and guidance on logistics systems and processes to less-experienced government personnel in their assigned area of support
  • Validate repair requirements, initiating and managing organic/contract arrangements
  • Procure items and maintain documentation
  • Optimize global asset distribution based on customer needs
  • Analyze data to determine optimal demand planning methods. Resolve complex inventory problems
  • Prepare reports and briefings for management and customers
  • Assisting Government personnel
  • Apply knowledge of logistics planning, programming, and budgeting systems
  • Utilize relevant data systems
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.)
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) is preferred

Experience Requirements
  • 8+ years of Air Force Supply Chain Experience
  • Know how to perform asset tracking
  • Know how to ship assets commercially and through the military system
  • Experience with asset-tracking software
