Job description

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a English Language Learner (ELL) Tutor at Fairview High School/Middle School, up to 6 hours per day (student days), for the 2026-2027 school year.  
CERTIFICATION:
Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure
QUALIFICATIONS:
Provide academic support to ELL students grades 6-12
Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards and project-based personalized learning
Well versed in evidence-based strategies
Collaborate with ELL teacher, grade-level teams, classroom teachers and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions
Assist students in digital learning platform and current technology
Ability to coach one-on-one and in small groups to assist students with classroom assignments including vocabulary building and conversational confidence
Develop and administer remediation programming
Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and effectiveness and intervention strategies
SALARY:
Payscale starts at $22.64 - $24.80 per hour (proper placement on tutor salary schedule based on education and/or experience)
