The Rehabilitation Center is a welcoming and dynamic facility located in the heart of Sanford, Florida. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients receiving care, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including but not limited to therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and the use of modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Create individualized rehabilitation programs that aim to meet specific therapeutic goals, enabling patients to regain independence and maximize their functional capabilities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and systematically, maintaining clear communication regarding patient progress, treatment responses, and any necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Regularly reevaluate patients’ conditions and modify treatment strategies as needed to reflect changes in their health status or recovery trajectory.
• Advise on, fit, and train patients in the use of assistive devices, ensuring they understand how to use these tools safely and effectively for improving self-care and mobility.
• Facilitate education for patients, their families, and caregivers on the principles of physical therapy, self-management strategies, and the use of therapeutic modalities.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities to maintain and expand professional knowledge within the field.

The physical therapist will work with a diverse range of clients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses. Our patient population may include pediatrics, adults, and elderly clients, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for improvement. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care, guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, and celebrating their recovery milestones.

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on patient interaction and education.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for documenting patient care, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to adapt and be highly responsive in a fast-paced environment.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting, although recent graduates with clinical internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Prior home health experience is a plus but not mandatory, as ongoing training and mentorship will be provided.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annual, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is provided, including:
