As a member of the Skin Elixir team, you will work in an onsite hospital environment that promotes teamwork and offers training and development opportunities. Our clinic is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Charting all clinical transactions in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy in patient documentation.
• Conducting comprehensive patient examinations, formulating treatment plans, and ordering necessary lab tests, such as bloodwork.
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards, maintaining compliance with organizational policies, and upholding patient confidentiality.
• Performing various dermatological procedures, including but not limited to injections, mole removal, and minor surgical interventions, as directed by supervising physicians.
• Educating and counseling patients and their families on effective treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Collaborating with the clinical team by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
• Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical software to manage patient information efficiently.
• Adapting to a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Your primary focus will be on diverse patients seeking dermatological care, ranging from routine skin checks to advanced treatment for chronic skin conditions. The clinic serves a broad demographic, ensuring that you will have the opportunity to treat patients of all ages while addressing various skin health concerns.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A valid CPR certification.
• The ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with various healthcare software applications.
• Excellent decision-making skills and the capacity to work autonomously when required.
• A professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude to enhance the clinic experience for everyone involved.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably within a dermatology or related specialty setting. Experience performing dermatological procedures and a strong understanding of skin conditions will be beneficial for success in this role.
