Job description

Warehouse Packer / Warehouse Operator Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and designated Shift Leads, this position is responsible for all aspects of packing/repacking finished plastic bags from the bag line into cartons and preparing them for shipping to safely produce high-quality bags in accordance with the job safety analyses, production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc. Responsibilities: Understand and follow safety procedures/policies Forms cartons and applies proper box label; may run box machine Constantly inspects finished product before it is packed into carton and notifies bag line operator of quality issues; repackages as needed Stacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly Performs quality checks Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Responsible for palletizing product for up to 5 bag machines Assists Converting Operator as assigned Other duties as assigned Candidate Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Work overtime as required Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management Ability to perform the essential functions of the job 1st week : Orientation/ Training: 1st day 10:00am-3:00pm 2nd day 6:50am-4:00pm 3rd day 6:50am-4:00pm 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am $16.85/hr Background/Drug Test/Everify Richmond, VA 23231 Please send resumes to aelvirez@elitestaffinginc.com and lcuellar@elitestaffinginc.com All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
