As a Flex Officer, no two days are the same. You'll provide security coverage at a variety of client locations, primarily within healthcare environments, residential communities, and other location needing back-up security services support. Your professionalism, quick decision-making, and ability to adapt will help keep our clients, their employees, patients, and visitors safe.

Where You'll Work

Assignments are available throughout:

  • San Diego County
  • North County San Diego

Our Flex Officers enjoy the opportunity to work at multiple locations while gaining valuable experience in a variety of security environments.


What You'll Do

Every assignment is different, but your mission remains the same—protect people, property, and our clients' reputation through outstanding security service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional security services at hospitals, healthcare facilities, and residential communities, and commercial properties.
  • Conducting interior and exterior foot patrols.
  • Performing vehicle patrols to monitor parking lots, perimeters, and surrounding properties.
  • Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, visitors, vendors, and guests.
  • Responding confidently to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activity.
  • Enforcing client policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Preparing accurate electronic incident reports using the Track Tik reporting system.
  • Following site-specific post orders and company procedures.
  • Quickly adapting to new locations, teams, and security operations with professionalism and confidence.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced officers who are dependable, professional, and ready to step into a variety of assignments with minimal supervision.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • 3–5 years of current security experience.
  • Previous vehicle patrol experience.
  • A valid California BSIS Guard Card.
  • Proof of required BSIS training (32-hour training plus 8-hour Power to Arrest certificate).
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
  • Use of Track Tik app or similar for documentation & procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong report-writing abilities.
  • The ability to remain calm, confident, and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple job sites.
  • Must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement for company vehicle use).

Healthcare security experience is highly preferred but not required.


Schedule

This is a Part-Time Flex Position designed for officers who can adapt to changing operational needs.

Applicants must be available for:

  • Morning and afternoon shifts
  • Short-notice scheduling
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
  • Schedule changes based on client needs

Additional hours may become available based on business demands and performance.
