Job description

Elevator Services Group is seeking an installation/service technician to Join our team! We provide and install mobility products including ramps, stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, auto lifts, patient lifts and more. In this position, the mobility products installation technician serves our clients and represents the company by ensuring the complete installation and repair of mobility products in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Layout, assemble, and install mobility products at residential and commercial job sites

  • Train customers on the proper use of products

  • Document completed installations

  • Provide telephone and in-house technical support to customers

  • Pull inventory for each installation job based upon work order

  • Manage and maintain tools and warehouse inventory

  • Additional duties required as needed

Requirements

  • In lieu of direct mobility equipment experience, one or more years of skilled trade, automotive repair, military, or other transferrable experience will be considered

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience a must!

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Adaptable and willingness to learn new skills

  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • One or more years of experience installing mobility products preferred

  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving, and drug screen

  • Must have a clean driving record (company vehicle, tools provided)

  • Must have a valid California state driver's license

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
