Security Dispatch - Harrah's Laughlin

Harrah's Laughlin is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven Security Dispatcher to support our Security Department. In this vital role, you will coordinate communication, dispatch officers, and maintain essential logs that keep our property running safely and efficiently. If you excel under pressure, communicate clearly, and enjoy being at the center of fast-moving operations, this is the perfect opportunity to shine. As part of the Caesars Entertainment family, you'll deliver our Family Style Service while ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Dispatch Security Officers to various calls across the property
  • Coordinate with Engineering regarding all elevator issues
  • Maintain key control for the entire property
  • Handle AMR calls, including notifying Security and all required departments
  • Respond to emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
  • Manage Lost & Found and maintain detailed logs
  • Handle property outages, following emergency short- and long-call-out procedures
  • Maintain daily dispatch activity logs
  • Maintain the DR (Daily Report) log
  • Monitor and manage the Emergency Board, contacting Engineering when needed
  • Track room complaints, as required
  • Maintain room pin/unpin logs
  • Maintain key in/out logs
  • Log daily Race & Sports times
  • Control inventory of all required forms
  • Deliver Caesars Entertainment's Family Style Service to guests and team members

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six months or more of relevant security or dispatch experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and write basic business correspondence and logs
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Certificates, Licenses & Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain applicable regional Gaming Card(s)/License(s)
  • Valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record & Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
