Position Overview

Mind Elevate Counseling Center is searching for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this remote position, you will play a vital role in providing quality mental health care to individuals facing various challenges, including depression, addiction, and family-related issues. With a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 104,000 per year and a flexible schedule, this opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

About the Organization

At Mind Elevate Counseling Center, we pride ourselves on being a trusted partner for an extensive network of mental health providers across the United States. Our mission is to empower mental health professionals to thrive in private practice, ensuring accessible therapy for all individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances. We handle the burdensome aspects of practice management, such as credentialing, billing, and insurance claims, allowing providers to focus on their clients and deliver meaningful care. Our organization is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to mental health services.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to schedule your patients according to your own routine. As a licensed clinical social worker at a hospice center, you will work with clients in various settings, leveraging technology to maintain consistent communication and deliver therapy effectively. Our supportive virtual environment fosters collaboration and professional growth, ensuring you are equipped with the tools needed for successful patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized psychotherapy or counseling services to diverse client populations including individuals, groups, couples, and families who are navigating challenges such as grief, mental health disorders, and relationship issues.
  • Conduct thorough client interviews to gather essential social, personal, environmental, and health-related information to inform treatment plans.
  • Assess and address mental health challenges within the regulations of your licensure, employing evidence-based methods and therapeutic frameworks.
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive programs and activities designed to meet specific social and emotional needs, focusing on holistic wellness.
  • Implement cognitive, affective, and behavioral interventions, managing crisis situations effectively and making appropriate referrals to community resources when needed.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships grounded in mutual respect and trust, advocating for clients and their emotional well-being.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services regularly, adjusting approaches and strategies as necessary based on clients' progress.
  • Document all findings, assessments, and client interactions in alignment with established protocols to ensure a high standard of care and compliance.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping that reflects the services provided to each client.
  • Deliver individual clinical counseling utilizing a client-centered approach while fostering a safe space for open dialogue.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LCSW will focus primarily on clients who are dealing with terminal illnesses, life transitions, and emotional distress associated with hospice care. You will provide support and therapy to individuals and families coping with grief and loss, emphasizing compassionate and empathetic care. Understanding the unique challenges of this population will be crucial in guiding effective interventions and support mechanisms.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • The candidate must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of California.
  • Four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health practice or social work is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience providing counseling in areas related to mental health, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, addiction, family dynamics, and bereavement.
  • Proficiency in client counseling techniques and the utilization of various therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience working within hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

Mind Elevate Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually. Additional benefits include:

  • A lucrative sign-on bonus to incentivize your transition into our team.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan to secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid holidays and vacation time to promote work-life balance.
  • A wellness program to support your health and well-being.
