About the Opportunity
We are seeking a temporary Web & Content Operations Specialist to support a Communications team during a transition period. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who can quickly step into an active workflow, manage multiple moving pieces, and independently keep projects progressing.
This person will support webpage development, content coordination, administrative tracking, and communications operations across a variety of ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and experienced managing web content in WordPress.
Key Responsibilities
Webpage Development & Content Management
  • Build, update, and publish webpages using WordPress and Elementor
  • Create landing pages, resource pages, and campaign-related content while following established templates, brand standards, and UX best practices
  • Coordinate webpage requests with internal stakeholders and ensure timely execution
  • Manage and route incoming web/content tickets and requests
  • Support ongoing website cleanup and content maintenance efforts
  • Coordinate with the external web maintenance agency, including managing development requests, tracking status updates, and follow-up
Content Coordination & Communications Support
  • Maintain and update communications trackers, including:
    • Speakers Bureau tracker
    • Media hits tracker
    • Story bank/storytelling tracker
  • Coordinate content and approvals across internal teams using Asana
  • Support monthly media, storytelling, and PR reporting
  • Assist with organizing and preparing content for recurring communications and digital initiatives
Project & Administrative Coordination
  • Help manage and track 30-60 active web/content projects at varying stages
  • Monitor deadlines, flag blockers early, and ensure projects continue moving forward
  • Serve as an operational support partner to the Communications and Media/PR team
  • Work independently while knowing when to escalate questions or seek guidance

Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience building and maintaining webpages in WordPress
  • Familiarity with Elementor or similar block-based page builders
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management tools
  • Ability to manage trackers, content libraries, databases, or administrative systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Strong written communication and light editorial/content coordination skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable asking clarifying questions and collaborating with stakeholders
