Elementary school librarians, also known as school library media specialists, are educators who manage the school library and help students and teachers access books and digital resources. They teach students how to find, evaluate, and use information, promote reading, and support classroom learning. Additionally, they organize library programs, maintain the library collection, and help create a welcoming reading environment for young children.
