Description of Duties:
• Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities
• Create a positive educational climate in which students can learn.
• Meet course and school-wide student achievement goals.
• Create and modify lesson plans throughout the year.
• Record grades based on student progress.
• Read and keep up with current issues in education.
• Create lesson plans based on the private school's core curriculum.
• Utilize various digital and platform resources.
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
• Utilize curriculum that reflects the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic
backgrounds of the students served.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Academic Director to ensure initiatives are met.
• Tutor students on an individual basis.
• Prepare and distribute required reports.
• Observe and evaluate student performance.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom using approved disciplinary procedures.
