Job Summary
Value Schools is seeking passionate, student-centered educators to join our Middle School Math Teacher Pool for anticipated openings serving students in grades 7 and 8. We are looking for exceptional teachers who believe that all students can achieve at high levels and are committed to creating engaging, rigorous, and equitable mathematics classrooms.
The ideal candidate uses research-based instructional practices to develop students' conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and mathematical reasoning while fostering a classroom culture of high expectations, collaboration, and academic excellence. Candidates should be skilled in analyzing student data, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and building strong relationships with students and families. Successful candidates are committed to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of every student while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
This position requires a valid California Single Subject Mathematics Credential (or appropriate authorization) and a strong commitment to educational equity and student achievement.

- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching credential or certification for the state of California
- Proven experience in teaching at the elementary level, specifically 6th grade.
- Strong content knowledge in literacy and science, with a commitment to staying current with educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with students, colleagues, and parents.
