Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting 3rd-grade students through specialized instruction and inclusive practices. This role offers the chance to work closely with a dynamic elementary team in a setting that blends both pull-out and push-in classroom support. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted instruction to 3rd-grade students in both small group and inclusive classroom settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs in line with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure effective inclusion practices
  • Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding students’ progress and goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development sessions
  • Provide guidance to paraprofessionals, aligning support with student-specific IEPs
