This is a full-time, 10-month position reporting to the Lower School Principal.
Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive and safe classroom culture and community.
  • Delivery of the curriculum through classroom teaching.
  • Ensure high-quality education and the most engaging experience for students.
  • Collaborate with the Early Elementary Team.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement the curriculum.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Maintain confidentiality with student information and records.
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess, and carpool

Requirements
  • Experience in early Elementary education
  • Ability to work well with early Elementary students
  • Ability to collaborate with other teachers and assistants
  • Experience with technology, including both iPads and Microsoft products

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Benefits
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience at an educational institution and prior administrative experience and responsibilities. Candidates will be offered a competitive salary and are exempt from overtime within the range of $40,000 - $45,000 dependent on experience.
In addition to the annual salary, Indian Creek School offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life insurance, critical illness and accident coverage, and both short- and long-term disability for the employee and their eligible dependents.
