M9 Solutions is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Chantilly, VA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities * Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems. * Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to the client. * Utilizes and comprehends the project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing the client's handbook and policies. * Participates in quality reviews of the client design documentation, analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability. * Tracks project metrics and participates in weekly resource allocation meetings. * Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation. * Tracks and inventories tools, conducts tool inspections, and organizes material ordering and receiving. * Conducts daily ORM meetings, ensures team compliance with safety requirements, and completes accident/incident reporting. * Participates in PITCO plan creation and build-out, executing the PITCO plan to ensure high-quality testing and installation. * Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels, adhering to industry standards. * Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices, network and IT equipment. * Manages base switch configurations, participates in the configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoots programmable components. * Ensures compliance with established QC plans and checklists, conducting quality control inspections and documenting findings. * Installs and maintains field devices, terminates and tests system components, and troubleshoots copper and fiber optic issues. * Leads commissioning efforts, tracks commissioning activities, and assists in representing the client in meetings with owners and design teams. * Communicates consistently with the client's project teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration. * Leads by example, provides constructive feedback, mentors crew members, and encourages strategic thinking and innovation. * Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, aligning with the client's vision, mission, and values. * Provides a look ahead for assignment of manpower, material procurement/staging, and resource planning. * Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. * 50% Travel. Required Skills and Qualifications * Active TS/SCI security clearance. * Education * HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours), or * Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, or * Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program * An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. * 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple client programs. * Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. * Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. * Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. * Must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. * Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a plus. * Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with the client's policy. Preferred Skills and Qualifications * Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems: CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications, and experience in installation of said systems. * 3 years of experience focused on electronic security systems. * OSHA 30 certification.
