Sit Down Forklift Operator

Assemblix LLC is now looking for certified Sit-Down forklift operators in our Plainfield, IN location. Morning shift- 6:30am-3:30pm | 7:00am-3:30pm | 5:30am-2:00pm depending on availability. Pay Rate is $19.00 an hour. Applications are done in our office: 2601 Fortune Cir. E. Suite 304A Indianapolis, IN 46241. Between 9am-2pm.

Job Overview: Our client is a leading electronics recycling and IT asset disposition company, is seeking skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join their fast-paced team. This is a great opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization committed to sustainability and data security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stack, and organize materials
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers
  • Transport pallets of electronics and materials throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
  • Perform equipment checks and report any mechanical issues
Qualifications
  • 6+ months of recent sit-down forklift experience required
  • Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
