CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Directly responsible for the strategic discovery and implementation of market-leading electronic services including managing the research and development of all new products and services from concept to implementation for the Electronic Services Division through supporting design and execution of highest value digital solutions to enhance quality member experiences. Identifies the demand for products and services offered by competitors and other financial service companies and leads the research and strategy for product and service development, analysis, implementation and post-implementation review of new and enhanced electronic products/applications/services to achieve business goals and satisfy members' financial service needs. Follows market trends for financial services products and continuously evaluates current products and services to ensure alignment with relevant trends in banking including examining the existing and potential member base to identify new product opportunities. Uses analytical skills to make business decisions, which manage risks, resolve problems, and reduce member irritants and recommends and manages the product roadmap for CEFCU's electronic services, provide insight into how to achieve business objectives while adhering to approved budgets. Electronic Services product responsibilities include CEFCU On-Line and Mobile Banking Applications (OLB/MB), Bill Pay, Online Budgeting Tools/Personal Financial Management (PFM) services, Card Management, eStatement presentment, e-alerts through OLB/MB, Online Account Opening (OAO), and other online/electronic services as designated responsible under EMC/Electronic Services.
Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members. Accountable to support member experience initiatives, goals, and training.

Required:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 6-8 years experience with technical project management change management, vendor management, and strategic planning experience.
  • 2-4 years experience interpreting technical specifications and translating to others on project teams.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong typing skills. Including ability to explain technical information to non-technical employees to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills. Strong leadership and ability/willingness to actively participate in helping achieve department and corporate objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to proactively evaluate situations using available resources and make informed decisions in unusual or escalated circumstances.
  • Successful management or supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to supervise and professionally develop employees, while effectively balancing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • General understanding of internet, mobile applications, and internet browsers.
  • Ability to plan, organize, follow-through, and manage multiple priorities with proven ability to manage complex projects within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or four-years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Applicable college classes (e.g., Business Math, Accounting, etc).
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and how they apply to CEFCU's General Ledgers/Accounting area.
  • Knowledgeable about current and developing technologies including internet, PC operating systems, browsers, smart and browser-based cell phones and other mobile devices.
  • Well versed in with CEFCU On-Line and Mobile Banking, OAO, Biller Direct, Card Management, Bill Pay, and Online Budgeting Tools and other digital/electronic banking services and environments.
  • Knowledgeable about Internet Browsers, PC Operating systems, smart and browser-based cell phones, tablets and other devices.
  • Knowledge of new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products.
  • Training and Presentation experience.
  • User experience with CEFCU's electronic services.
  • Proficiency in CEFCU mainframe applications including Member Information File (MIF), Member Account File (MAF), CEFCU Tele-Servicing System (CTI), Account Information File (AIF), Personal Computer Banking (PCB), Personal Computer Queue/Query Network (PCQN).
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies and principles.
  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills including revenue planning and product profitability.
  • Experience with project management/proposals, product evaluation/research/development, and contract negotiation. Experience of recommending changes in service or marketing strategy. Experience working with external vendors on the assessment, selection and management of product implementation.
    Thorough understanding and previous experience of product buildouts and rollouts/implementation.
  • Familiarity with FFIEC, Bank Secrecy Act, Truth in Lending Act/FACT Act, and federal and state laws, particularly Regulation E, Z, CC.

Summary Pay Range

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $98,054.00 - $115,198.00.

The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.

Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
