As an Electronics Engineer you will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug hardware and firmware for high power RF systems. You will support the development of new hardware subsystems, from specification to architecture, simulation, detailed design, component selection, layout, reliability prediction and test.

Opportunity to learn: High power RF, hardware and firmware

You Make an Impact By:

  • Understand and negotiate breakdown of generator specification to electrical subsystem or circuit board

  • Determine feasibility and conduct tradeoffs between performance, cost, reliability, and time to market

  • Conduct first article test on new subsystem or circuit board, validate specifications, support development of factor subsystem test development

  • Support RF generator testing to validate operation in-situ

  • Find multiple sources and validate new sources to ensure continuity of supply

  • Take ownership of assigned subsystems throughout the product life cycle

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree with electrical experience

  • 2+ years experience in related field

  • 1+ KW power systems design and test experience

It's also nice if you have:

  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test)

  • RF systems experience (school, internship and co-ops considered), ideally experience with RF test equipment

  • Ability to support multiple efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range:$71,025.00 - $118,375.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
