Job description

Marlin Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join our production team in Horicon, WI.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the production test process
  • Interpret technical engineering documents, such as schematics, electronic drawings, and test plans
  • Set up and operate complex test equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Assist with tasks related to new product development (product rework, repair, or modification)
  • Provide guidance to production personnel to resolve technical issues
  • Build test harnesses and setups per instructions/schematics
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems


Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Technology or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience using LabVIEW software preferred
  • IPC-A-610 Certification preferred
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set up and operate test equipment, including a computer-based test system
  • Aptitude for working with the tools and equipment common to the testing area
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to consistently meet project deadlines
  • Proficient at soldering surface mount and through-hole components
  • Must be able to interpret test documentation and implement an automated test program to complete the testing process
