Job description

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager for Supply Resiliency at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a critical role in developing and executing global supply resiliency strategies to strengthen supply continuity, minimize business disruptions and support business growth.

You will report directly to our Senior Strategic Sourcing Director , and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the continuity of supply through defining supply resiliency strategies, executing dual sourcing, supporting EOL/LTB new process and tool development, leading cross-functional team during supply disruptions and coordinating recovery actions to minimize business impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute global supply resiliency strategies to ensure continuity of supply for critical materials, components and services
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-source dependencies, geopolitical risks, commodity constraints, natural disasters, and supplier financial health
  • Lead supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans, including dual sourcing, regional diversification, inventory strategies, and supplier business continuity planning
  • Monitor supplier performance, capacity, lead times, and market conditions to proactively identify potential supply disruptions
  • Support Engineering team to develop End of Life (EOL) and Last Time Buy (LTB) processes and tools, monitor stock out risks and timelines of phasing in alternates or new designs to mitigate revenue risks
  • Lead cross-functional response teams during supply disruptions, coordinating recovery actions to minimize business impact
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring resilient sourcing strategies are established early in the product lifecycle
  • Mentor and guide sourcing professionals while fostering a culture of proactive risk management and operational excellence
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business
  • 10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Extensive knowledge of Electronics, Electricals and EMS commodities and related Market intelligence
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Well-developed negotiation and communication skills
