Job description

Indotronix is seeking an :

Onsite Job: Electronics Assembler 2
Work Location: Buffalo, NY 
Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Work Schedule: 5x8 (Monday–Friday)
Security Clearance Required?: No

Job Description

Assemble electronic components using assembly drawings, diagrams, and job aids to meet customer requirements. Perform fine-pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, BGA rework and repair, manual and automated microelectronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, semi-rigid wire and cable harness fabrication and installation, and transformer winding and encapsulation based on business needs. Perform continuity checks, operate production equipment, inspect completed work for compliance, document production data, collaborate with technicians and engineers, and follow all safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness requirements. Successfully complete in-house workmanship training for continued employment.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of assembly or electronics experience, or an Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical discipline

  • Soldering experience

  • Experience performing manufacturing/assembly tasks in a metric-based work environment

  • Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Skills

  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification

  • Ability to solder at Class 2 level

  • Experience working under a microscope with small electronic assemblies

  • Strong manual dexterity and precision

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interpret written work instructions and engineering drawings

  • Customer-focused attitude

  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education / Experience

  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical discipline OR

  • 2+ years of assembly or electronics manufacturing experience.
